Erasmus+ 2024 Mobility

Since 2021, we have actively started to cooperate on Erasmus+ projects and have implemented several activities that were very attractive to us and the outputs of which we provide to other organizations working in the field of education and development.

We learn to grow and develop II

The project is managed under 2024-1-SK01-KA122-ADU-000239498 within the Erasmus+ section for education and training, Key action 1 - Educational mobility of individuals.

Project goal:

With the project, we are trying to strengthen the competencies of experts and managers in adaptability and resilience and eliminate negative aspects of education. The goal is to respond better to changes and challenges in the environment and to support the growth of the organization and the target group by discovering cultural diversity and new educational approaches. We focus on international cooperation and the exchange of experience, which will contribute to a more effective solution to the needs of clients and support the competencies of workers.

As part of the implementation of the project, we carry out 2 basic types of mobility activities, namely participation in educational courses and observation at work.

Purpose of Mobility:

The purpose of the mobility within the course "Mindfulness in Education: How to Develop Body Awareness Through Breathing" was to enhance participants' ability to use mindfulness techniques to increase awareness of their own body and breath. This mobility focused on understanding the basic principles of mindfulness and their application in an educational environment to support the emotional and mental growth of students. An important goal was to teach participants to recognize stress and tension in the body, manage them effectively through breathing exercises, and promote overall well-being. The mobility was oriented towards the practical use of mindfulness in everyday situations, leading to better concentration, empathy, and overall harmony in both personal and professional life.

What skills did you acquire?

In the course, I learned mindfulness techniques that promote better body and breath awareness. I acquired the ability to effectively use breathing exercises to manage stress and tension. I learned how to lead mindfulness exercises in an educational group, which supports better focus and emotional stability among students. Additionally, I acquired techniques to improve empathy and interpersonal relationships through mindfulness practice.

What are the positives of the Erasmus+ program?

The Erasmus+ program offers the opportunity to connect individuals and organizations from different countries, enriching them with diverse perspectives and cultural views. It allows participants to gain new experiences and skills that support not only professional but also personal growth. Educational mobilities like this one contribute to the development of new methods and techniques that can be subsequently applied in various fields. It also provides an opportunity to build international networks and improve language skills.

Transfer of acquired information/skills to professional and personal practice:

The education within this course provided me not only with expert knowledge about mindfulness techniques but also with practical experience on how to implement them in daily life and the educational process. I learned effective methods for managing stress and improving concentration, which I can use when working with students and clients. The acquired skills allow me to better support the mental and emotional development of students, contributing to their overall well-being and success. These techniques are also useful in personal life, where they contribute to greater well-being and balance.
